The Bill of Federalism | As Proposed by Professor Randy Barnett

Pretty damn good ideas. Needs some tweaks, but all in all, very solid. Let's run these through right now.

The 10th one needs a provision I've been asking for for years. State legislatures ought to be able to vacate Supreme Court decisions if 2/3 of them agree to do so.

Mitt Romney, Please sit Down and Shut Up

I knew we'd hear from you today since you have to do damage control. You giant tool. RomneyCare from MAss is at the heart of this disaster, so you are done, IMO. Nice to hear from ya, but don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out of the 2012 Presidential Race.

California Jobs Initiative 2010

California Jobs Initiative 2010

This is a poposal to suspend the insane Schwarzennegger bill that has given CARB extensive powers to destroy California industries in the middle of 14% unemployment. It would put the thing on hold until unemployment got back to reasonable numbers in the 5% range.

My Way News - Pope slams Irish church, no Vatican blame in abuse

I'm starting to get pretty pissed off with the Vatican. I'm also kind of tired of people pumping up Pope John Paul II. He may have done a million wonderful things, including his involvement in defeating the evils of communism in the 80's, but in the end he's the guy that was in charge when Cardinal Law of Boston, who was guilty guilty guilty in their sex scandals, was promoted to a sweet gig in Rome. He was also the guy in charge that did nothing at all about Mahoney here in Los Angeles.

The Vatican keeps making these arguments that they aren't in charge of the local diocese on these issues. Well then WTF are you in charge of? How to spend your bling? And where's your moral conviction and where's your courage? Instead of sweeping into diocese with these problems and kicking some asses, you leave the children to be victimized again and again and the priesthood, especially the leadership, to commit crime after crime against their membership.

It's time to wake the hell up and get things under control.

Final health bill omits some of Obama's promises

I hope no one is really surprised by this. To Obama, ethics are just something he has to stick to when it's easy to do so. Think back to how he made a rule that no lobbyists could serve in the administration, then proceeded to give himself waivers on that rule so that lobbyists could go ahead and serve in the administration. This is just a defining characteristic of the narcissism of extremists like Obama. They don't see anything wrong with anything they do because they believe in their own infalability. I think t that in their heads, the self-righteousnous is blaring so loud that they always assume that because *they* do it, it therefore must be right and good.

Impeachment may end up the only way to stop the insanity

If the crazy ass health care bill passes ith all it's quid pro quo deals and bribes to congressman, then impeachment may be a real possibility. If the people are as against this bill as they seem to be and it passes it seems like the mid-terms will be a referendum on the bill. And I think that turns into the Republicans sweeping in with majorities in both houses. The problem is they can't roll back the bill without a presidential signature. Which brings us back the bribes and the Impeachment. Of course, then there is the Biden problem, but one thing at a time I suppose.

I'm betting a fe of them are taking this as an awesome promise rather than a threat.

"So if I vote against this, you promise not to come to my district and make people associate me with you?"
"Yes"
"DONE!"
